Broadway 21, 22 and 23 May

Over 25 living rooms were set up as true mini-theatres in which 20 to 60 spectators can find a place to sit. Each living room had an artist, duo or group who, spread over the evening, gave four performances of around 30 minutes. With a ticket (valid for four different performances) in hand, the audience made its theatre round.

Zwitserleven Round around Texel - 19 June

The Zwitserleven Round around Texel has emerged in 32 years into the world's largest catamaran event. Annually, around 600 catamarans battle the waters around Texel for the honour, with the objective to sail around the island of Texel as fast as possible. With around 15,000 visitors, it is a fantastic public event.

Texel Culinary 2010 - 10 through 12 September

By tradition, Bij Jef will be present at Texel Culinary 2010. Flamboyant personalities and gourmets imagine being in paradise and can indulge themselves in the Dorpsstraat of beach resort De Koog. Extra attention was paid to all issues: to the programme, to the decor of the street, but especially to all culinary surprises that the chefs of no less than 30 brassieres and restaurants have prepared for you. Sunday is the party day par excellence, at which a selection of artists will arrange for a true street festival.
