This autumn, as an extra service to our hotel guests, we are pleased to offer the possibility of taking a private walk with our dune-farmer Benno Bakker. Grab this unique chance to discover for yourself why Texel is the most beautiful place on earth, whilst unwinding in nature at the same time.
Together with Benno, who shepherds Texel’s Scottish Highlanders, you will take a walk into the dunes on the lookout for these great beasts of burden. Look forward to a wonderful walk of approximately two hours, which will take you past the habitat of grazing cows, Exmoor pony’s and hundreds of birds.
Just like staying in on of our luxury suites, the focus of the walk is to completely unwind and enjoy, while casually learning everything there is to know about your natural surroundings.
